They are small so she can pick them up and feel them. Like you, I travel wit...</title><content type='html'>hmmm...more connections...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like you, I travel with ridiculous baggage...in the form of too many books from home...but I also have an affinity to stones. I think my fascination for them stems from my interest in geologic time, mostly. But there is some sort of &amp;#39;otherly&amp;#39; connection to me as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also bring back &amp;#39;representative&amp;#39; stones that I connect to, but! the other thing that I do...I take stones from the home that I am spiritually connected to in Montana, glacially tilled beauties from the area, from camping or walking or river trips......and I bring them to important places that I am spiritually connected to in my other home, Ireland. The moment finds me and I know when to place it or leave it. There&amp;#39;s a holy well and a cliff and a beach that I&amp;#39;ve left stones at in Ireland.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That way, a piece of my &amp;#39;old memory&amp;#39; is transported from the home I am in to the home I am away from (and vice versa, bringing other stones back with me). It makes me feel very connected to both places at once.
